Radio Play Auditions

Have you got a voice for radio? Do you want to have a go at acting over a microphone?

Pioneer Park Museum and GRAPA have come together to create and perform a series of radio plays for 2020. Written by local playwright Lisa Semmler, the plays are all about Griffith and the surrounding area, with a look at past businesses, people, and lifestyles!

If you want the chance to star in one of the plays, download the audition sides and email your recording to us!

There are 15 roles available, so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved.

Rehearsals, recording, and release

Rehearsals will start towards the end of August and will be arranged by the director’s of each play. All plays will be recorded in early September (schedule permitting) ready for release in October!

The plays will be distributed through GRAPA and Griffith Pioneer Park Museum channels, in addition to our local community radio station; 95.1FM.
