Vintage Voices

Vintage Voices is a collaborative project between Griffith Pioneer Park Museum and GRAPA, telling tales based on real histories of Griffith through the nostalgic radio play.

There was a time when the wireless was king. The family ritual of gathering around the radio set was at the heart of households, tuning in to their favourite stories or news from beyond their communities. Vintage Voices is the resurrection of this ritual; telling tales based on real histories of Griffith through the nostalgic radio play.

The project has a focus on local talent and local stories, produced by Griffith Pioneer Park Museum, featuring plays written by local writer Lisa Semmler, and directed by members of GRAPA.

New episodes have been released on Facebook weekly since Monday 5th October. Episodes have also been airing on local radio station 2MIAFM 95.1 at 10am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Here you can find the collection of all released episodes, catch the ones you missed and re-listen to your favourites.
